Khalsa College holds online competitions

Ludhiana, July 7

The department of computer science and Applications of the Khalsa College for Women, Sidhwan Khurd, organised inter-college online competitions. Entries of students (only girls) of colleges affiliated to Panjab University and constituent colleges were invited for digital poster-making and collage-making events.

The themes of the events were “Save environment”, “Covid -19 awareness” and “Say no to drugs”.

In the collage-making event, Himani Jamwal of Arya College, Ludhiana; Khushi Sharma and Mansi Verma from Arya College, Ludhiana, secured the first, second and third positions, respectively. Nishu Sharma from Arya College got the consolation prize.

In the digital poster-making event, Naghma Firdous, Nidhi Gupta and Manpreet Kaur, all from MCM DAV College for Women, Chandigarh, secured the first, second and third positions, respectively. Jaspreet Kaur from Khalsa College for Women, Sidhwan Khurd, won a consolation prize.
