Ludhiana, April 15

The Punjab BJP president, Manoranjan Kalia, today said Chief Minister Punjab Bhagwant Singh Mann was speaking a white lie to the people of the state on issue of the so called “training” of officials in Delhi.

Kalia, who was on a personal visit to the city, said Mann was covering up the issue that had already generated a lot of controversy.

“Generally junior officers need training. A delegation of senior most officers was sent to Delhi for training? Do senior most officers of Punjab need training? If it is so then, the CM is undermining the capability of most officers, including Chief Secretary, Secretary Power and Chairman PSPCL, which is uncalled for,” Kalia added. —
