Ludhiana, February 18

The Union Minister of Sports, Youth Affairs, Information and Broadcasting, Anurag Thakur, has condemned the AAP supremo, Arvind Kejriwal, for dividing the country.

While addressing a rally in the city Thakur said, “Kejriwal wants to become the Prime Minister of ‘Khalistan’ by dividing the country.” Thakur was in city to support Parvin Bansal, the BJP candidate from Ludhiana North.

Thakur asked voters if they wanted to handover the prosperous land of Punjab to persons like Kejriwal. “Do people of Punjab feel that the AAP’s CM face Bhagwant Mann will make Punjab drug-free?” Thakur added. Thakur appealed to masses to save Punjab by not handing it over to AAP.

Continuously targeting the AAP, the Minister said Punjabi was second language in Delhi, but Kejriwal replaced it with Urdu. “Today, Urdu is second language in Delhi,” Thakur added. Thakur also said 4,000 teachers were to be recruited in government schools of Delhi, but Kejriwal did not give preference to Punjabis.

“If the BJP comes to power in Punjab, its government will start giving minimum support price (MSP) on pulses and flowers,” Thakur added. While campaigning for the BJP candidate, Parvin Bansal, Thakur addressed a rally at Chander Nagar, which was attended by hundreds of people. As it was the last day of campaigning in Punjab, Thakur stayed for a short period in the city.
