Hosiery waste godown gutted in fire at Maharana Pratap Nagar

Ludhiana, October 30

A fire was reported in a godown of hosiery waste at Maharana Pratap Nagar on Tibba Road on Saturday. The cause of fire is not known and the stock kept in godown was gutted in fire. Residents of the nearby area blamed the Fire Brigade of reaching late at the spot, while firemen said the road was closed due to some function and they had to take some other route. The fire was brought under control in one hour. — TNS
