Gujranwala Guru nanak institute

Ludhiana: Gujranwala Guru Nanak Institute of Management and Technology (GGNIMT), Civil Lines, launched a green campus initiative to commemorate the Gurpurb of Guru Gobind Singh. Students from all the departments brought and planted a wide range of plants on the premises. Students also pledged to take care of these plants throughout their time at the institute. Principal Dr Harpreet Singh attributed the success of this drive to the interest and efforts of the students.

Guru Nanak Khalsa College

Guru Nanak Khalsa College for Women organised a lecture on road safety and traffic rules on the college campus today. ASI Rajesh Kumar and ASI Gurcharan Singh from Model Town police station were the resource persons. The main motive of this lecture was to spread awareness on traffic rules and road safety and causes of road accidents. A compelling call to action came from the cops as they urged all the students to conscientiously follow traffic rules, not only as a means to preventing accidents but also as a testament to their commitment to being responsible citizens.

BCM College

BCM College of Education organised a meditation session during NSS Camp. Rachna Gupta from Swami Vivekananda Pyramid was the resource person. NSS volunteers shared their experiences after the meditation session and quizzed Rachna Gupta to clear their doubts regarding meditation.
