Food team seals bakery

Ludhiana, June 15

Food safety officers on the directions given by Dr Rajesh Garg, Designated Officer, Food Safety, today inspected a bakery after a complaint was received.

The owners were preparing food articles in unhygienic conditions and without food licence. Four samples, including colours being used in the preparation of cakes, pastries, etc, were collected.

A challan was issued and the premises sealed. A few other complaints were also attended by the team today and total 12 samples were taken for further analysis. — TNS
