District badminton tourney begins

Ludhiana, August 3

The week-long Ludhiana District Badminton Tournament began at Shastri Hall, near Guru Nanak Stadium, here on Wednesday. Competition in the cadet group, sub-junior, junior as well as men and women sections will be held during this tournament. On the basis of players’ performance, Ludhiana teams for the upcoming state championships will be selected.
