CT varsity launches book titled ‘Hospitality and tourism industry amid Covid -19 pandemic’

Ludhiana: CT University launched a book, titled ‘Hospitality and tourism industry amid Covid -19 pandemic’ which is authored by Dr Varinder Singh Rana, dean and Dr Gaurav Bathla, associate professor, School of Hotel Management Airlines and Tourism. The book was launched by Charanjit S Channi, chancellor, Manbir Singh, managing director and Dr Harsh Sadawarti, vice-chancellor, CT University. Dr Rana said the book contains broad topics such as digitalisation in hotel workplace, contactless hospitality, impacts of Covid 19 on hospitality employment, travel behaviour, etc.

Poster-making contest

Social Science Club of Arya College, Ludhiana, in collaboration with the IQAC organised a poster-making competition as part of the ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ celebrations. Students displayed their creativity through posters related to diverse themes such as Incredible India, Indian freedom struggle and freedom fighters. Satisha Sharma, secretary, ACMC, appreciated the efforts of students and motivated them to nurture patriotic feelings towards the nation. — TNS
