Creating awareness on pandemic imperative

Those violating the Covid-19 precautionary measures should be dealt with strictly as they not only expose themselves to danger but also pose a serious health hazard for others. No doubt, creating awareness about the pandemic is imperative. But for those flouting the guidelines intentionally, the law mandates a punitive action. In Ludhiana, the police conducted a raid last week and nabbed those violating the precautionary measures like social distancing etc.

According to experts any act whereby the measures related to containing the spread of the pandemic are violated mandates a strict action. The people can, at the very least, do their bit by cooperating with the authorities.
