Covid guidelines given the go-by

- At a majority of protests, the guidelines for prevention of Covid-19 spread were violated by protesters. A large number of protesters did not maintain social distancing and the others were not wearing masks. Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh had appealed to the protesters to adhere to the safety protocols during the bandh.
- The Civil Surgeon, Dr Rajesh Bagga, said protesters must wear masks and maintain social distancing to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
