Ludhiana, April 7
Following a complaint by area residents, the Municipal Corporation caught a Pit Bull from Ishar Nagar, near Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College. The dog was found roaming in the area. The civic body officials are now looking for its owner so that the owner can take back the dog from the ABC Centre of the Municipal Corporation.
The Senior Veterinary Officer, Dr Harbans Singh Dhalla, said they had received a complaint from residents that an aggressive dog was roaming in the streets. Following the complaint, the MC team had reached the area and with the help of an area resident, a team of the Municipal Corporation caught the dog and took it to Animal Birth Control Centre, where the dog was being fed since April 3, said Dr Dhalla.
“We are looking for the owner of the dog. We request the owner to contact us at mobile number 9815091107 and take the dog back from ABC Centre,” he added.
