Lawrence Bishnoi's aide arrested with two illegal pistols

Ludhiana, June 19

The CIA wing of the Ludhiana police recovered two illegal pistols, along with 11 live cartridges, from a member of the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang here today.

The suspect has been identified as Baldev Chaudhary (30). His interrogation led to the arrest of his another aide, Ankit Sharma.

CIA in-charge Inspector Beant Juneja said Baldev was a close aide of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. He was also a classmate of Bishnoi.

“We will seek his police remand to inquire about the motive behind possessing the weapons. We will also inquire if the suspect was still in touch with gangster Bishnoi,” said Inspector Juneja.

The Inspector said the police would also probe if the suspect had used these weapons in any crime in the past.
