Bharat Bhushan Ashu checks Ludhiana MC office, finds staff absent

Senior Congress leader and MLA from Ludhiana (West) Bharat Bhushan Ashu on Thursday morning conducted a surprise checking at the Municipal Corporation Zone D office in Sarabha Nagar here.

It is learnt that some of the staff members at the office were found absent from duty. Ashu has given instructions to the authorities concerned to take strict action against the MC staff found absent from duty.

Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi had recently given directions to the officials and employees of the government departments to reach the office by 9 am and remain available to public during office hours.
