Ludhiana: BCM School, Chandigarh Road, organised an Inter-BCM virtual quiz. The current situation has ceased students to enter school premises but they are not deprived of learning new things. To encourage the students to explore beyond the limits of their textbooks, the school hosted an Inter-BCM virtual quiz on the theme ‘Panoramic View of India’ for students of Classes VI to VIII. Participating teams comprised Ritesh and Jagatvir from BCM School, Basant City, Mohit Verma and Raghav Bhatia from BCM School, Chandigarh Road, Sachkeerat Singh and Gauransh from BCM School, Dugri, and Sneha Dubey and Harman Rana from BCM School, Focal Point. The event started with recitation of the Gayatri Mantra, followed by a speech by Principal DP Guleria. Questions were based on topics like current affairs, geography, history, sports and English. Mohit Verma and Raghav Bhatia from BCM, Chandigarh Road, clinched the first position by securing the maximum points. Sneha and Harman from BCM Focal Point got the second position while Ritesh and Jagatvir from BCM Basant City got the third position.

BCM Kindergarten, Basant Avenue

Ludhiana: Students of BCM Kindergarten, Basant Avenue, Dugri, expressed their love and respect for their grandparents through an activity. The activity was organised to pay gratitude to the grandparents. Students conveyed their feelings through poems and by speaking five lines in praise of them. Children are generally close to their grandparents. The motive of the activity was to make students apprised of the importance of love and care kids receive from their grandparents as grandparents are the most beautiful gift of God. TNS
