Ludhiana: Lohri was celebrated with great pomp and show on the premises. The whole school was embellished with colourful kites, ‘fulkaris’ and décor of traditional culture of the state. Students of kindergarten enjoyed an online Lohri celebration with their teachers. Teachers sang old songs and bolis depicting the rich cultural folklore of Punjab and performed gidda. Principal Paramjit Kaur joined them with the hope that the coming year would bring happiness in the lives of the students and the teachers as well.

MGM Public School

On the auspicious occasion of Maghi, the school organised a paath. The pandemic has brought a lot of upheavals in the lives of everyone. To invoke blessings from almighty, Sukhmani Sahib paath was organised. Teachers and students performed the rituals. The students were distributed prasad. Gajjan Singh Thind, director of the school, graced the occasion. Principal Sunita Vij enlightened students about the importance of holy books.
