Athletics association organises District Cross-Country Run

Ludhiana, December 8

The Open Ludhiana District Cross-Country Run was organised by the District Athletics Association (DAA) at Millennium World School, Rajnit Avenue, Phase II, Gill village, here today. Participants (boys and girls) competed in categories, including U-12, 16, 18, 20, besides men and women sections. Gurpreet Kaur, Principal, Millennium World School, Savneet Chawla, director, Operations, MWS, Raminder Singh, chairman, DAA, Ludhiana, gave away prizes to position holders.

Results

Boys (U-20): Kishan Lal Sonkar 1st, Mukul Dham 2nd and Sharanjeet Singh 3rd.

Girls (U-20): Ritu Bala 1st, Harpreet 2nd and Asha 3rd.

Girls (U-12): Nargis Sohi 1st.

Boys (U-12): Harmanpreet Singh 1st, Manjot Singh 2nd and Anant Batra 3rd.

Boys (U-16): Sazim 1st, Chirag 2nd and Jagdeep 3rd.

Girls (U-16): Ramandeep Kaur 1st, Kirandeep Kaur 2nd and Gurleen Kaur 3rd.

Boys (U-18): Ajit Singh 1st, Harnoor Singh 2nd and Gurtej Singh 3rd.

Girls (U-18): Seema Purohit 1st, Lovepreet Kaur 2nd and Dilveen Kaur 3rd.—OC
