Ludhiana, July 19

The Christian Medical College and Hospital (CMCH), here, has appealed to the public to contribute funds for the treatment of a seven-month-old baby, who got injured after the roof of a room of her house collapsed in Ludhiana on Thursday. The incident took place on May 21 when the roof came crashing down, injuring the baby and her parents.

The parents got minor injuries while she sustained multiple rib fractures with splenic and liver injury and was brought to the CMCH with the help of local residents. The baby is kept in the ICU. At present, she is in a critical condition and requires monetary help. The parents, who are daily wagers, are not able to bear the expenses of the treatment.

Those who want to contribute can contact Dr Vishal Michael at 8054777958. Any donation, in cash, has to be deposited at the cash counter of the CMCH, in the account of ‘Kirti C-7961786’. Donations by multiple cheque and bank draft are to be addressed to ‘The CMC Ludhiana Society’, and on the rear side of the cheque please write ‘Kirti C-7961786. — TNS
