Agrawal urges residents of Ludhiana to donate liberally

The state government has launched ‘Mission Fateh’ to combat the pandemic, and different facilities are being provided to residents through the District Red Cross Society.

  • Deputy Commissioner Pradeep Kumar Agrawal informed that in view of the Covid-19, if any person wants to donate to support the relief measures being undertaken by the district administration, they should contact the Secretary of District Red Cross Society, Ludhiana, at phone number 9417376655 or email redcrossldh@yahoo.com.
  • He said the bank account of the District Red Cross Society is in HDFC Bank (account number 50100330412872), IFSC Code is “HDFC0001320”, where residents could contribute wholeheartedly.

Agrawal said when someone clicked on the link, he/she could make the donation in a much easier way. He said the donors would just have to fill in their name, email ID, mobile number and PAN number and the donation from Rs 500 to Rs50 lakh could be made easily by clicking this link.

Agrawal said in this hour of need, cooked food and dry ration was being provided to people who were basically daily wage labourers. He said that till now, this work was being carried out with the support of several NGOs and organisations.
