82-year-old man dies of Covid, 2 test positive in Ludhiana

Ludhiana, December 8

An 82-year-old man, a resident of Basant Vihar, Dugri, died due to Covid-19. The victim was under treatment at a private hospital. Besides, two fresh cases from the district have been confirmed on Wednesday.

The Health Department has confirmed 87,687 cases of Ludhiana district and 11,748 of other districts or states. The department further confirmed that 2,112 patients of the district and 1,061 patients of other districts or states have died of the virus till date.

As many as 4,506 samples were collected for the Covid-19 test today. At present, there are 25 active cases in the district. Of these, 21 patients are in home isolation.
