8 mobiles recovered from jail inmates

Ludhiana, August 2

During a surprise checking in the Ludhiana Central Jail, the jail officials recovered eight mobile phones from inmates. The accused have been identified as Sanjay Kumar, Vijay Kalra, Gagan Vij, Lakha Singh, Jaspreet Singh and Ravi.

The investigating officer, Assistant Superintendent of Jail Shiv Kumar said to check the presence of banned items in the jail, he, along with a team of jail officials, conducted a surprise checking during which mobile phones were recovered from the belongings of the above-mentioned inmates.
