700 examined at medical camp

Ludhiana, January 19

A state-level mega medical camp was held in the city today. The camp was organised at International Public School, Sandhu Nagar, from 9 am to 3 pm.

During the camp, doctors examined nearly 700 patients. Tests were done free of cost and free medicines were also given to patients during the camp.

Civil Surgeon, Dr Rajesh Bagga said information related to Sarbat Sehat Bima Yojana as well as other welfare schemes and programmes related to health was also disseminated to the participants.

During the camp, Dr Rajinder Gulati, SMO, Civil Hospital, Khanna, was honoured with Appreciation Award under the banner ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’. The award was given by MLA Sanjay Talwar in the presence of Civil Surgeon Dr Rajesh Bagga.
