55 test positive in Ludhiana district, no death reported

Ludhiana, November 2

Fiftyfive persons tested positive for Covid, while no death was reported in the district today.

Those who tested positive included 17 persons who were referred from various OPDs, 21 from flu corners, five contacts of positive persons, three health care workers, while the tracing of nine persons was under progress.

With festival season on, the Health Department has appealed to the people not to create too much rush in the markets.

Civil Surgeon Rajesh Bagga said the government was taking many steps for the welfare of the people. “I request all residents to stay safe during the festive season by staying at home and following the guidelines issued by the government,” he said.
