45 companies participate in 7th Rozgaar Mela in Ludhiana

Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma today inaugurated the seventh Mega Rozgaar Mela, besides launching the ‘Mera Kaam Mera Maan’ programme to hone the skills of unemployed youth and free online coaching for various government competitive examinations.

The job fair was organised at Government ITI on Gill Toad on Thursday. Around 45 private firms participated in the fair.

The DC said the first fair was held at Government ITI Gill Road, second would be organised on September 13 in Gulzar Group of Institutes, Khanna, and the third on September 15 in SRS Government Polytechnic College for Girls and last fair would be held at September 17 in CICU Focal Point.

He said that as many as 200 leading industrial and business giants would be visiting these melas. The DC said the companies would select these students as per their needs in due course of time with proper transparency. —TNS
