4 test positive for Covid in Ludhiana district

Ludhiana, October 15

Four persons tested positive for Covid, while no death due to the disease was reported in the district today.

The recovery rate of Covid patients has reached 97.57 per cent. Today 16 patients were asked to undergo home isolation, while there are 21 active cases in the district. One patient is undergoing treatment for Covid in hospital in the district. A total of 26,08,690 samples for Covid test have been taken, of which 25,09,435 samples were found negative. Now, the total number of Covid patients belonging to Ludhiana is 87,569, while 11,686 patients belong to other districts/states.

The total number of patients who lost their lives to Covid is 2,104 from Ludhiana and 1,052 from other districts. — TNS
