3 held with air pistol, weapon in Ludhiana

Ludhiana: The Shimlapuri police have nabbed three persons with an air pistol and a sharp weapon. They have been identified as Arvinder Singh Aman of Guru Gobind Singh Nagar, Arun Kumar Gaggi of Preet Nagar and Raman Kumar Happy of Matharu Road. The Shimlapuri SHO, Inspector Amandeep Singh Brar, said they received a tip-off that the suspects were seen in a vacant plot and they were planning a major loot. Accordingly, a raid was conducted and the suspects nabbed. The three suspects were nabbed while two of their accomplices, namely Gurpreet Singh of Manakwal and Lovepreet Singh Love of Harkrishan Nagar, escaped. TNS
