250 students get jobs during first phase of placement drive

Students of the 2016-2020 batch of Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College have brought laurels to the college by getting placement offers from various companies, including MNCs, in the pre-final semester of their graduation.

As many as 250 students have been placed in various MNCs in the first phase of the placement camp. Elaborating the statistics GS Sodhi, TPO, stated that top recruiters, namely Accenture, TCS, Thermax, Orange, Infosys Limited, Samsung, Cognizant, Enest, Cresendo, Paxcom, NIIT, Airtel, Zaro, Stylumia, Bizmerlin HR, AMBER and many more have shown keen interest in the placement scenario for students this season.

This batch bagged themselves a package of as high as Rs 12 lakh per annum by the top-paying recruiter of the region, Samsung. Next in the queue is Crescendo and Stylumia, which have also offered packages as high as Rs 8 lakh per annum. Recruiters namely Accenture, Airtel, Thermax Limited TCS have offered packages as high as Rs 7 lakh per annum, Rs 6.5 lakh per annum, Rs 5 lakh per annum, Rs 4.5 lakh per annum and Rs 3.5 lakh per annum to the deserving students of various branches.

Infosys and Stylumia have also shown interest in recruiting deserving students. — TNS
