17 more contract Covid infection in Ludhiana district

Ludhiana, June 20

The district witnessed 17 fresh Covid cases, while no loss of life was reported due to the virus from the district today.

The number of active cases rose to 126. As many as 122 patients are in home isolation, while four are admitted to hospitals.

A total of 1,10,145 persons have been infected with the virus since the outbreak of Covid in Ludhiana district.

Samples of 2,579 suspected patients were sent for testing today, the results of which are expected shortly.
