Two gems of the culinary world come together on small screen

Every week, Zee Café’s Chef Vs Fridge brings two experienced chefs to compete against each other for the title of Culinary Champion of The Day.

In the upcoming episode, two such chefs Jyoti Vishnani and Chef Vinod Prasad will, will be challenging each other. While the two got on their cooking platforms to bring the best to their plates, they also shared insights on their journey. Chef Jyoti, about her inspiring journey, said, “After 10th standard when I thought of going into this industry there was not much awareness. It was looked down upon. So, on my father’s advice, I decided to do engineering but it was always an inner wish to cook. I spent 10 years in a corporate job and then decided to shift to the culinary industry.”

Meanwhile, Chef Vinod said, “I have been in this industry since 1997 and have worked in different kinds of places ranging from dhabas to big labels.”
