Sony TV is back with the new season of Indian Idol; Chandigarh auditions set for July 26

Indian Idol is one of the most prestigious and sought-after singing reality shows on Indian television that has given wings to many aspirant singers. Over the years, the show has given the nation many wondrous voices like Salman Ali (winner of Season 10), Sunny Hindustani (winner of Season 11), and the most recent winner of Season 12, Pawandeep Rajan. Ready to welcome raw and energetic talents yet again in its 13th season, Sony Entertainment Television’s upcoming singing reality show has announced its ground auditions.

The auditions for the show will take place in 12 cities starting July 8. Locations for auditions include Jaipur (July 8), Bhubaneswar (July 10), Guwahati ( July 12), Patna (July 14), Kolkata (July 17), Indore (July 19), Lucknow (July 21), Mumbai (July 24), Chandigarh (July 26), Dehradun ( July 28) and Delhi (July 31).

Pawandeep could not contain his excitement as his favourite show makes a comeback and said, “With the auditions kickstarting soon, this time as well, the show will feature many amazing and natural singers. I can’t wait to find out who becomes the next Indian Idol.”
