Shalmali Kholgade ties the knot with Farhan Shaikh

Singer Shalmali Kholgade, who is known for hit songs such as Balam Pichkari from Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Lat Lag Gayee from Race 2 and Baby Ko Bass Pasand Hai from Sultan, has tied the knot with her long-time boyfriend Farhan Shaikh. It was an intimate ceremony at her house with only her family and some close friends in attendance. The wedding took place on November 22 and the couple will now be throwing a big bash to celebrate the nuptials on December 1 in Mumbai.

A source says, “The ceremony was attended by just 15 people. The idea was to ensure that everyone enjoyed the day. They wore simple outfits, which they intend to wear their wedding outfits in the future, too.” Pictures of the wedding have gone viral. For the occasion, Shalmali was dressed in an orange saree with bird motif and Farhan wore an orange kurta and garlands made of orange and white pompoms and photographs of the couple.
