Shaan’s Tanha Dil Tanha Safar strikes a chord with audiences

Show comments

Twenty years after Tanha Dil became a cult song, Shaan’s Tanha Dil Tanha Safar seems to be going in the same direction. While the two tracks are different from each other, the magic the previous one created is similar to the current one. The track that addresses the delicate topic of mental health has already crossed over 2 million views within hours of its release. Though it deals with mental health, the song manages to keep its melody and soulfulness and that is what music lovers have appreciated the most. The song, being within the parameters of great music, imparts such an important message, so effectively.

Commenting on the same, Shaan says, “We have tried to handle a sensitive subject with utmost care and if this track can make any difference to people’s lives, I think we’d all be very pleased. Mental illness is a long and arduous journey but there’s always light at the end of the tunnel. There’s always hope even when one hits the rock bottom, one just has to address the issue and #SayYesToLife.”
