January 14: Human on Disney+ Hotstar

When dark secrets of the medical world are revealed, will the brave live to expose the truth or be consumed in a dangerous web of lies and deception? Human is a medical thriller based on human drug trials in India. The series boasts of a stellar cast headlined by Shefali Shah and Kirti Kulhari, along with Vishal Jethwa, Ram Kapoor, Seema Biswas, Aditya Srivastava and Mohan Agashe, amongst others.


January 13: Ranjish Hi Sahi on Voot Select

Created by Mahesh Bhatt, written and directed by Pushpdeep Bhardwaj, the series revolves around a fledgling, maverick, film director who gets drawn into an extra-marital affair with an eccentric superstar, who changes his life forever; his marriage with his first love spirals, as he is torn in between two worlds. Set in 70s Bollywood, the golden era of bellbottoms and some great music, the story explores complicated human relationships.


January 14: Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein on Netflix

The series is a psychological drama with themes of love and power, set against the backdrop of crime and desire. Based in the fictional town of Onkara, the series shows love, politics and lawlessness collide in the heartland, all while reversing gender dynamics. Use of popular 90’s track, Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein, highlights the suspense factor. The cast includes Tahir Raj Bhasin and Shweta Tripathi, among others. —TMS
