Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega is taking a 20 years’ leap. Is there a higher expectation from the new star cast?

I am all set for the show and I like to take challenges and yeah, I am working hard for this character of Agastya.

From engineering to acting. Tell us about your journey.

I never thought of being an actor. I was an engineering student and some of my friends encouraged me to take up modelling. So, I decided to give it a shot. I came to Mumbai in 2015 with dreams in my eyes. I started giving auditions and luckily I got a show.

What does your name Savi mean?

Savi is a name of the sun and my friends gave me this name during my college days because they found my real name Savinder a bit too long.

If not an actor what would you have been and why?

I would have been an engineer. I have studied mechanical engineering.

How has the pandemic changed your lifestyle?

This pandemic kept me home with my loved ones. I spent the entire time with them. I had a lot of time to think about my future and my career goals.

What changes do you find in the industry from the time you started?

I do not find any change because I came here as a newcomer. I gave auditions, got work, and faced rejections too. So, the industry is still the same for me.
