What was your reaction when you were offered the role of Kukki?

I was really happy. Ekta ma’am is known for everything she does and I love working with her. I am getting so much recognition.

How much do you relate to your character?

My character Kukki is a sweetheart. I relate to my character a lot. I love talking, so much like Kukki. She’s very positive and good at studies. I am a child at heart but I have matured over the years which Kukki hasn’t.

Don’t you feel the pressure of working in a show which is already a hit?

I don’t take any pressure. Of course, it takes time to understand the people you are working with but once it’s done, it’s a delight to work. People have really liked me as Kukki.

What kind of roles would you like to do in future?

I would like to portray characters with significance.

Did you always want to become an actor?

I always wanted to be an actor but I didn’t know how to become an actor. Being a small town girl, I had no connections to this industry. While doing my MBBS, I joined theatre just to see if I could act. After I completed my studies, I did a few ads and then my friends helped me connect with various casting groups for auditions.

What is your strength as an actor?

My strength as an actor is that I am very relatable. I work hard to grasp things and I believe in staying happy and positive.
