How did you convince yourself to participate in this reality show?

I took a long time to say yes to this show, as I had some old backache issue and also my workout was not happening on a regular basis. And, over and above, I had a ligament tear. So I started with rehabilitation to increase my physical strength and took three weeks to say yes to them. It wasn’t an easy decision!

What was your husband Vivek Dahiya’s reaction when you told him about your decision to participate in Khatron Ke Khiladi 11?

Vivek has always been very supportive and he has immense faith in me, just like my parents. But my in-laws were worried due to Covid-19. However, we are all staying in a bio-bubble. It is because of this unconditional family support that I could come to South Africa for this show.

You have been an NCC cadet. Do you feel that it will help you in overcoming the challenges?

I don’t think that being an NCC cadet will help me much. But it will give me the confidence to perform in a better way. As a cadet, I have faced many hurdles and that learning will come in handy now.

How has the experience of the show been so far?

I am glad that through this show I am making good friends. Otherwise, I am busy in my own world. Participating in this show is like going out on a college trip, trying new things and succeeding and failing at the same time. We are also motivating and pushing each other to do the best.

How will you define Rohit Shetty as a host?

One of the best parts of this show is Rohit Shetty. He is more than a host. He is the biggest motivator. The way he guides and stands by the contestants is exemplary. Dealing with our psychology and handling us in a specific way — he does a great job. The way he explains makes the job easier. I just can go on and on about him!

What is your biggest fear in life?

My injuries may be. I am not scared of any kind of creepy insects, height or water. My only fear is that my injuries should not let me down.

What have you learnt from the pandemic?

We should not take our lives for granted. We should celebrate every moment with our loved ones. Right now, we can’t even go out without a mask, we can’t travel freely. So, once we get all this back we should not take it lightly.
