Anubha Dawar gives make-up tips

Show comments

Celebrity make-up artist Anubha Dawar, who has often collaborated with television actors, has some beautiful tips to share. Dawar believes that this season is full of wonderful things, but melting foundation, smeared eyeliner and super-sticky lipstick are not among them. She says one should start with the right moisturiser, which should be an oil-free one and one should also opt for an oil-free foundation formula to match it. According to her, these will be less likely to leave your face greasy throughout the day, especially in the heat.

Anubha says, “Besides hydrating your skin, you also want to make sure it’s properly protected from the sun and that means wearing broad spectrum SPF 30 or higher sunscreen every single day, even under your make-up. I would suggest you all to invest in a powerhouse make-up primer. I’ll personally stress on wearing less make-up. If you can, just use a tinted moisturiser and a concealer where you need it. And avoid cream foundations or anything too luminous. Instead go for sheer shades. To lighten up your look, switch to sheer versions of your go-to lip and eye colours. Sheer colours are subtler, you almost can’t

go overboard.”
