Actress Divya Bhatnagar passes away

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’-fame actress Divya Bhatnagar has passed away following complications due to Covid-19. She was 34. Divya was admitted to a hospital in Mumbai in November after she tested positive for coronavirus. Her health deteriorated and she was put on a ventilator last week. She remained critical for a week and breathed her last on Monday morning. As soon as the news of Divya’s demise broke, her colleagues from the television industry expressed their grief on social media. Shilpa Shirodkar wrote, “Im so so so heartbroken..RIP my dearest Divya.”

Devoleena Bhattacharjee, a good friend of Divya, penned an emotional note on Instagarm that read, “…I know life was too hard on you… the pain is intolerable... but I know today you must be in a better place and free from all the sorrows, pains, sadness, cheats, lies.. You will be missed & remembered. I love you @divyabhatnagarofficial. Too soon to be gone my friend... Om shanti.”
