After Mahabharat, I went to Indonesia and did a few shows there. I was away from the screen for three-four years, but I am happy to be back with Myopia.
The story revolves around the famous Taj Mahal and is a thriller. I am playing the protagonist, Omkar Upadhay, who is a detective. I have also decided to produce the series, as thereis a lot of potential in the story.
I have lost about 10 kg and have put in a lot of hard work. One needs to adapt according to the character.
Your co-star from Mahabharat, Saurav Gurjar, is also a part of this series.
I am extremely happy to have him in Myopia. He plays the antagonist in the series. Mahabharat was one of the best things that happened in my career.
I am in support of it because unnecessarily abusive language and bold scenes, even where not required, are a problem with web content. There should be some guidelines. Censorship will surely help in filtering the content.
I have done theatre and then television shows, short films and now a web series. For me, acting is an emotion. I am looking for a character that will challenge my acting capabilities.
Initially, it was scary, but gradually I settled down. I did all the household work andafter a long time, gave time to myself. It was relaxing.
It is nice to be important, but it is more important to be nice. Life’s perspective has to be right.
