Let’s debut together

After announcing Code M, ALTBalaji has now kick-started shoot for yet another new show titled A Married Woman. Based on Manju Kapur’s book, the show brings an unconventional love story on-screen. It captures the philosophy behind a love story that rose in a time of political unrest in 1992 and finally has been corrected by a Supreme Court verdict after 27 years. It is a story of two beautiful souls that come together beyond societal bounds and portrayed by Ridhi Dogra and Monica Dogra in the lead roles. The show marks digital debut of both the actresses.

Ridhi says, “I feel really honoured to be the part of a story which is so relevant. It’s not just a story about two women and same-sex relationship, but it’s much more than that. As an artiste, I really didn’t have any inhibition.” Adds Monica Dogra, “I am super excited about this project. I would like to thank ALTBalaji for believing in me to portray this character. I could not have asked for anything better than this for my digital debut.”
