The programme combines class-based and experiential learning.

This programme will help students take an active role in developing and field-testing practical and innovative solutions to crucial development challenges that combine technological, cultural, psychological, and economic-behavioral dimensions. A particular emphasis is on engaging with Israel’s technological innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem and its own development experience.

The programme prepares students for a variety of careers in the fields of diplomacy, corporate social responsibility and social change management across the globe.

Many field studies are planned in India.

This programme integrates training in the theoretical foundations and the practical skills relevant to the study and practice of sustainable development.

Duration: The programme lasts 4 semesters, the first 2 at Tel-Aviv University and then the third semester either in Israel or in a developing country where Tel Aviv University is working with local partners from academia, civil society, and industry. The fourth semester is dedicated to guided research and thesis writing based on the third semester’s fieldwork.
