JKLU launches 3 new programmes

With the aim to focus on upskilling students from varied backgrounds for emerging careers of the 21st century, Jaipur based JK Lakshmipat University has launched new courses in Research, Data Analytics and Banking and financial services. The university offers post-graduate diploma in Research & Analysis for the student holding bachelor degree in liberal arts while post-graduate diploma in Data Analytics will best suited for graduates with Mathematics as their base subject.

The university, which offers BBA in Entrepreneurship, will also facilitate BBA in banking and financial services in partnership with Fincare Small Finance Bank. The course will focus on loan/financial, insurance and banking services by distinguished faculty from Industry.

Admission to these courses will be on a merit basis. Students with phenomenal academics will be considered for scholarships from the university.

 


Udacity launches AI for Healthcare Nanodegree Programme

Global online learning platform Udacity, that trains the world’s workforce for the careers of the future, has launched an  AI for Healthcare Nanodegree programme. 

The project-based courses will be taught by industry-leading  AI and healthcare experts and designed to provide learners with the practical experience and resources needed to work and advance in the healthcare field.

Learners who enroll in the programme will develop the skills needed to create algorithms that will enable healthcare professionals to deploy more effective interventions in order to optimise clinical decision-making at scale.

Curriculum included in the Nanodegree programme includes lessons on the applications of artificial intelligence in electronic health records, 2D and 3D medical imaging, and wearable devices. The programme also features hands-on learning with projects tailored to real-world scenarios that complement  instructor-led sessions, including the development of algorithms to detect pneumonia from chest x-rays and quantification of hippocampus volume to determine Alzheimer’s progression.
