Medical Genetics BSc

 The University of Sheffield is inviting applications for BSc Medical Genetics course starting in September 2021.

 This course will give you a broad understanding of genetics with an emphasis on topics of medical relevance, allowing you to understand how genetic information can be used and its role in future medicine, before putting your skills and knowledge into practice in the lab. You'll study the structure and expression of genes, inheritance and mutations, and learn about the latest molecular techniques for modifying genes, including CRISPR. It will introduce you to how modern genetics is enabling us to understand and treat a range of diseases, as well as helping us to tackle global challenges like food sustainability and security.

Eligibility:  80% in Class XII, including Biology and a second science. IELTS grade of 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in each component; or an alternative acceptable English language qualification

 Fee: Overseas students 2021-22 annual tuition fee is £24,450

MSc Mechatronics & Automation

The University of Strathclyde, Glasgow is inviting applications for MSc Mechatronics & Automation course starting in September 2021.

The course is aimed at graduates from relevant courses, who wish to study mechatronics and automation as their chosen career, those currently working in mechatronics and automation who wish to enhance their theoretical grounding and practical skills.

MSc students also undertake an individual project and the course will train them to:

lead mechatronic and automation product development contribute as team members to future mechatronic product development provide expertise as mechatronic 'specialists'

Eligibility: Normally a first-class or second-class honours degree (or international equivalent) in a science or engineering discipline. ELTS requirement is 6.0 overall with no individual component below 5.5

Fee: £21,850 for international students

Scholarship: Students applying for this MSc course will be eligible to apply for a Faculty of Engineering Excellence Scholarship offering up to £3,280 towards their tuition fees. Please note students must have an offer of study for a full-time course at Strathclyde before applying.
