HDFC Ltd's Badhte Kadam Scholarship 2021-22

HDFC Ltd’s Badhte Kadam Scholarship 2021-22 aims to provide financial assistance to students to continue their education from Class 9 to graduation level (General and Professional), especially those who have been affected due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Eligibility: Indian students who have either lost their parent(s)/earning members or whose family members have lost their employment (or livelihood) during the pandemic.

Currently studying in Class 9 to Undergraduate (including general and professional courses) level.

Annual family income must not be greater than Rs 6 lakh from all sources.

 IIT Gandhinagar Physics Discipline (PD) Post-Doctoral Fellowship

IIT Gandhinagar Physics Discipline (PD) Post-Doctoral Fellowship (PDF) 2021 is a research opportunity offered to Ph.D. degree holders. 

Eligibility: The fellowship is open for candidates who hold a Ph.D degree in physics (preferably not graduated more than 3 years before) and have submitted their thesis or are about to submit it.

 STFC India Meritorious Scholarship Programme

Shriram Transport Finance Company (STFC) Limited has announced the scholarship programme to provide financial assistance to students from underprivileged families of commercial transport drivers. Under this program, selected students will receive multi-year scholarships for professional studies after Class 10 and Class 12. 

Eligibility: Students currently enrolled in Diploma/ITI/Polytechnic courses, or Graduation/Engineering (3-4 year) programmes may apply for this scholarship, if they have scored at least 60% marks in Class X and Class XII. Applicants must come from the family of a commercial transport driver with an overall family income of less than Rs 4 lakh per year.

Details: Selected students will receive Rs 15,000/- for ITI/Polytechnic/Diploma studies (for 1 year), and up to Rs 35,000/- per year (max. 4 years) for graduation/engineering studies

 ICMR Centenary-Post Doctoral Research Fellowship Scheme 

The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) invites applications for the ICMR Centenary-Post Doctoral Research Fellowship Scheme 2021 from Ph.D./MD/MS degree holders. The fellowship scheme aims to foster high-quality research opportunities for talented and young Ph.D./MD/MS degree holders in the areas of basic science, communicable and non-communicable diseases, and reproductive health including nutrition at ICMR Institutes/Centers.

Eligibility: The fellowship is open for candidates up to 32 years of age who is a new Ph.D./MS/MD degree holder within 3 years of completing his/her Ph.D./MS/MD or hold a provisional Ph.D./MS/MD degree. The candidates' PDF guide should have a minimum designation of a Scientist-C grade. Besides these, postgraduate medical students can also apply for the fellowship in MCI recognised postgraduate medical colleges wherein a minimum of three batches has obtained their postgraduate degrees.
