First round of counselling for UG courses begins at GADVASU

Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU), Ludhiana started the counselling for admission to various undergraduate degree and diploma courses for the session 2020-21.

Giving detailed information, Dr. H S Banga Registrar of the university, told that first round of counselling was held for admission to 51 seats of BTech. Dairy Technology (four-year programme), 51 seats of Bachelor of Fisheries Science (four-year programme), 31 seats BTech (Biotechnology) (four-year programme) and 92 seats of two-year Diploma in Veterinary Science and Animal Health Technology, Veterinary Polytechnic, Kaljharani.

The graduate courses were very much sought after by the candidates. In the first round, the entire general category seats of BTech. (Dairy Technology), BTech. (Biotechnology) and Veterinary Polytechnic Kaljharani were filled. The further rounds of the counselling will be held at a later date to fill the vacant seats under different categories.

Dr A K Arora, Controller of Examinations informed that dates of counselling for admission to Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry (5 1/2 year programme) will be announced soon and the students desirous of getting admission to the BVSc.& AH course must regularly visit the university website www.gadvasu.in for any update.

The status of vacant seats of all the UG programmes will be available on the university website a day before the scheduled date of counselling.
