Weapon used in crime recovered

Hoshiarpur, September 25

The CIA staff of the police have recovered three live cartridges and a double-barrel gun used in an encounter in March on the basis of information procured from a gangster brought from Ludhiana jail on a production warrant.

During investigation of gangster Mandeep Singh, a double-barrel gun and three live cartridges were found hidden near the bridge at Arniala Choe. — OC
