Jalandhar, July 14

Led by their president Gurpreet Singh Riar, members of the Master Cadre Union, Punjab, held a meeting with Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) Vice-Chairman Varinder Bhatia.

During the meeting, it was suggested that the migration certificates and fee of students, who were getting admissions in other boards, could be submitted by their teachers at the regional offices rather than doing it at the PSEB, Mohali. It was also discussed that students of the 5th and 8th standards who had to reappear for exams, were responsible for filling their own admission formalities.

It was also assured to teachers after being brought to the Chairman’s notice that the exam duty allowances be restored for teachers. While hearing out teachers’ grievances, officers concerned were also called to resolve the cases.
