Nawanshahr: Steps for upkeep of livestock reviewed

Punjab Gaushala Sewa Commission CEO Dr Preety Singh visited Gokuldham Gaushala in Pandora Mohalla of Nawanshahr on Thursday. She was accompanied by Dr Chanderpal Singh, Deputy Director, and other officials.

Dr Singh reviewed the arrangements being done by the managing committee for the upkeep of Indian breed of cows. President Vivek Markanda, vice-president Satpal Ummat, secretary Raghav Sehajpal, cashier Vijay Abbi and Parmod Bharti, briefed the CEO about various measures being taken by the committee for the upkeep of the livestock such as feed and fodder, sanitation, medical care, preservation and promotion of breed of Indian cows.
