Singer accuses husband of harassment, seeks protection

Singer Jyoti Nooran of the Nooran Sisters Fame today sought police protection from the police alleging threat to her life amidst the ongoing divorce case with her husband Kunal Passi. Jyoti Nooran and Passi got married in 2014.

The Nooran sisters are famous for their numerous sucessful Bollywood songs and worldwide acclaim for singing projects. Addressing mediapersons, Jyoti Nooran said her husband wouldn’t be managing her shows henceforth. She submitted a letter to the SSP Rural Jalandhar today seeking protection from the police and action against her husband. She added that those interested in booking shows with her should approach her directly and not her husband.

SSP Rural Jalandhar, Swarandeep Singh said: The complaint has been received from the singer. I have marked it to the DSP Women Cell. We can only comment on the matter after due investigation is carried out and the matter is looked into.”
