It was a proud moment for Prabhjot Kaur Saini (24) of Bhundian village in Bhogpur tehsil when she got selected in the Punjab Judicial Services in her first attempt.

She is already serving as Metropolitan Magistrate after clearing the Delhi Judicial Service Examination, 2018. Prabhjot’s father, Om Parkash Saini, is a social worker. A passout from Guru Nanak Mission Public School, Dalla, Bhogpur, Saini was topper in Class XII at KMV Collegiate School, Jalandhar. She was also the gold medalist in BA-LLB (2013-18) and LLM (2018-19) in Panjab University, Chandigarh.— TNS
