PSEB Classes X, XII toppers honoured by Kapurthala DC

Kapurthala Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal on Monday gave letters of appreciation to students who bagged first and second positions in Xth and XIIth class results of the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB). Both first positions in Classes X and XII have been bagged by the students from government schools.

While lauding the hard work done by the children under the guidance of teachers and the role played by the parents, the Deputy Commissioner wished them a bright future besides asking the other students to always rely on hard work and discipline to succeed in life.

Gurtirath Kaur of Government Senior Secondary School, Blairkhanpur, scored 493 marks out of 500 to bag the first position in the district in Class XII results, while Ayasha Sood of Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Kapurthala, scored 489 marks to bag the second position in the district. For Class X, certificate of appreciation was given to Mohammad Arif Soni of Government High School, Mudowal, for securing first position in the district by getting 636 marks out of 650 while, Prabhjot Kaur of Government Girls High School, Dayalpur, clinched the second position by getting 630 marks out of 650.

Deputy District Education Officer Bikramjit Singh Thind, Sunil Bajaj and other teachers were also present on the occasion.
